i was wondering if there was a way that you could hook up your xbox controler to your pc and use it while you play or use some sort of other xbox styled controller while you play?

They have a thingy where you can hook it up to your PC. OR you can do it the hard way: yourself. Try google. If all else fails you can get the PS2 styled controller made just for PCs. It works really good but it just feels like your're playing a PS2 version of halo. PS2 isnt really a good system for FPS's...

Guys...let me make this as clear as i can...FPS`s were designed for the PC.The 2D shooter was made for the PC,the 3D shooter was made for the PC...for the mouse and keys...not for 2 sticks and 5 buttons. Nobody can tell me that a controller is faster more acurate and easier to use then the keys+mouse cause it`s a damn lie...it`s just fizicly imposible

I actually like the mouse and keyboard.

I've seen the computer controller, it doesn't look like much fun.

Yeah, I'm very use to it to, since I bought the PC version of Halo even before I touched Halo 2 on the X-Box (first time I touched it too! Didn't even burst into flames!)

You can get a awesome Xbox Controller to USB adapter at Lik-Sang.com here: http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=160&products_id =2701&
It supportes the headset. (if you got the right drivers)

I have it the other way around I use a KBAM for Xbox and Halo 2.
