About a Covenant Revolution, i find that hard to believe. I am sure, however, that in Halo2 we will be seeing some "friendly" fire between the Covenant races. I remember reading somewhere that if there is are elites and brutes in the same area, and you slip between them with camo and fire a plasma round at one group or the other, the group you fired on will "return" fire on the other group. Only with Elites and Brutes, however, becausse they are jealous of each other. Also, in First Strike it hard Covenant killing a pair of Hunters when they fired at the sacred light. Perhaps something like that might take place in Halo2?
Just some thoughts on that.
And about Sharkface217's post:
" Very old post..............
Forerunners are humans. Why? How can humans be so much more powerful than Covenant? We are creative, they are not. "
You are 100% right yet 100% wrong. The Forerunners are not human. If they were human, some trace of them would have been found on Earth. Either a crashed ship, a mining operation, reckage from a city... You are right, though, in saying that we are stronger than the Covenant. They are IMITATIVE, not creative. If they were creative, their slipspace generators would work even more efficiently than Cortana used them. Their plasma weapons would be vastly improved from what Cortana was able to figure out in a couple of hours. The Covenant's technology came from the Forerunners and the races that were "molded" into the Covenant. Like how first contact up to Halo the Covenant weapons havn't changed. That means that they had not discovered a Forerunner or another form of technology since contact was made. Another example is the shields that the Spartans use. Based on a Jackels shield, it is stronger than an Elites. And getting stronger. The Covenant Shields are staying the same.
As it says in First Strike, given just what the Covenant now knows, the humans can use their superior grasp on the laws of physics, gravity, and other such forces to make the Covenant weapons and technology dozens of times stronger than what the Covenant has.
