i think they should keep halo 2 going because if they do this then there going to do the same to halo 3 there just going to bring it down because its old or not a lot of people get on .now that halo reach is coming out a lot more people are going to get on the game then halo3 .everything started with halo 2 after that all other games started to have online or live
They should take off halo 2 live!!!!!!

They shut down Original Xbox Live support, not specifically Halo 2.

Halo 2 had a good following but overall not enough people were playing Original Xbox games on Live to justify keeping the servers while Xbox 360's Live support continues to grow.

RIP Halo 2: November 9, 2004-May 10, 2010
I was the 2nd to last person to get kicked off Halo 2, see the thread Here

Rumor is, they shut down Xbox Original games so we could have 200 friends on our Friendslist, instead of 100.
Totally worth it, huh?

When I first saw the campaign video back in 2003 I was psyched for this game. I haft to say, bungie did change a few things that I was disappointed about.First I think the BR semi automatic would have been much better because you can't kill someone as easily and it sounded alot cooler and the design, in my opinion, was a little more slick than the tweaked 3 shot-burst version of the weapon. Second, I gotta say I enjoyed not having ragdolls, at least not having halo 3 ragdolls. I think the ragdoll effects could have been a lot better. Bodies are like so floppy and I just couldn't stand it. Lastly I think the mission they had in the demo should have stayed one hundred percent because lots of events happened in the video, the marines were actually making conversation while firing at the covenant where as in the full game itself, they were fairly quiet. This is my opinion of the game and I think that Bungie should have kept lots of things from the demo. Still, halo 2 and 3 were great games its just halo 3 was extremely repetative and it looked like they just polished off a few things and added an equipment button. I think that the people at Bungie are great game makers and I respect them I just think that they have such great talent and they could do so much more with that. Thanks for reading. Hope Bungie sees this suggestion for future games. GO HALO
