I think I will master the SMG. It looks like I could just own with it. Learning how many bullets to shoot to knock down an over shield, then meleeing to death an elite. I am the melee king in multiplayer. In game I beat everthing to death.

Whatever the worst weapon is. I will take it and train with it to become the bane of my enemies. :-)

(Running Riots in halo with a needler were good times)

The SMG will be so great because it nodoubt sound/look freaking awsome and besides you can never use too much ammo to kill your enemy.

I know, I always thought that the sound of the weapon made the SMG so amazing. Iam going to get such a thrill from killing grunts and jackals with it, since their blood splatters the most. The Battle Rifle makes some really nice sounds in scope mode, it sounds real.

I like the accuracy of the battle rifle! 1or 2 shot and its "bend over and kiss your ass goodbye" for those Covies!

I hope one or two. To get two head shots with it is hard enough, that if it kills in two fast, than you can take on a hole rush of elites if your pro. I think it would make you better too. Three head shots was too much.

I don't know much about the covie carbine (sniper rifle) but it sounds pretty damn versatile

I always picture the carbine shooting a green wirey pulse, like the secret gun from the movie Eraser.

In the E3 video where the MC pumps two shots into the dead brute he just melee'd. I think there should be more blood the sprays up from the bodie. There was lag in Halo from doing that, I think though in Halo 2 that will be fixed. SMG gone wild on dead brutes, thats what I am think.

Tell me if I'm wrong here but dont you think they should add bullit holes to the bodies. I mean whats the point of an excellent spray of blood if you cant see an entry/exit wound?

I thought about that alot. I think things like that thought take up memory on the xbox. Memory the xbox doesn't have. Bungie has to tone down a lot of little details to make Halo 2 multiplayer run smoother. They get away with a little bit more in campaign mode because I don't think there is as much random motion. Also the cimatics part is a way to make the graphics look perfect, when its just like a movie clip between moments in the game. I noticed in multiplayer the MC's visor looks really good, although nothing like the glare you see in the trailers.

Note: I do think that in xbox 2. There will be a lot of things in game mode that companies can do with environments and movable models.

Thats funny Mazza. I think that is something that I am gonna try out. If you ever can film your multiplayer action in Halo 2. I want to see you pull that off.

ooh I like that. You could jump out the back of a van with a bag of candy and lure them into some bushes then hit em with the sword!

i'll film it and send it to your adress if you want, and you can show me if you can pull it off. oh yeah, and it would be easy with crappy oppenents. as long as bungie dont make it that you can only carry the sword and to change guns you would have to drop the sword, making it useless

Lets hope not. I think this trick will be like as good as standing on the teleporter like in Halo, and Meleeing in the back. Yeah send it to me, I think it will be easy with the Replay mode they might have.

Give me the Battle Rifle all the way...

It might actually have a feel as good as the original AR, and it might even be effective.

MC187, if you use the tactic in your first post, about shooting down their shields and then melee, be careful you don't have more enemies, while dual weilding, one way to drop your second weapon is to melee, leaving you with just one smg. Just a thought

I definitely want to use the Energy Sword most. But I think the Battle Rifle will be the best weapon feel wise in Halo 2 (opinion)

There's no more over shield...
