To Make Posts is Glorious

Some threads will get posts before others and it is the duty of the Leadership to ensure that posts are made that best suit the public welfare.

I went to join a group today, and what did I see? If you go to joingroup.aspx, instead of automatically joining you or adding you to the member cue, there is a join group button! Yay! Stop the injustice! Thank you Archronos, you rock!

He means Achronos added a part to the script so you have to click a button before being added to the queue.

Yeah, I just tested this a few minutes ago to see for myself. It's so awesome though. Now we don't have to worry about links forcing us to join groups!

I already tested that, you can't copy that link.

You silly, silly boy. Don't know much about the web, eh?

That button you click is called a form. You HAVE to have clicked that for anything to happen. A simple page doesn't do it anymore, like it used to.

I saw that, but it totally just passed my mind as something that was always there.

Gimpy, don't be an idiot. Comparing the wiimote to the power glove is like comparing sex to dieing.

Yay, now I don't have to press the leave group button

May I enquire what there was to worry about in the first place? (this goes to all of you, not just him.)

People were posting links in their sigs that would make you join the chapter insted of just taking you to the chapter's home page, thus making the people who didn't mean to join mad.

People weren't aware that hovering a mouse over a link shows the destination in the status bar at the bottom of a browser.

For once, I totally agree with you. Why people kick a huge fuss up over this, I don't know. A few simple PM's to Achronos and I'm sure the same would have happened. It's just the way it's written on here makes it look like it's worthy of getting banned over...
