The graphics were vastly improved from Halo 3, it offered exclusive maps and the Reach beta, owning ODST is the ONLY way to get Mythic II, and the ONLY way to play the Reach beta, I can't believe this was only $60!

I loved ODST. A unique story that continued the continuity of Halo 2 & Halo 3, a more challenging campaign since the characters are not Spartans and finally brought elements of the Halo Universe to the game that were excluded from the main trilogy.

Why people aren't impressed with ODST is simply that: it was the shortest campaign of all the Halo games; no Elites as allies or enemies; no matchmaking for the awesome Firefight mode (friends only from Halo 3 or other games); weapons & equipment excluded from the game and, personally thought, it would be a much darker story.

To elaborate the last point, I thought the Superintendent had gone rampant and was expecting a level playing as Dare who finds recordings of each team member being executed one by one. Believed the Superintendent would be damaged to the point where it could no longer stand the humans destroying sections of the city to prevent the Covenant from gaining control. Was expecting a big boss battle and a level escaping the underground & city like the final level of Halo: Combat Evolved.

Still love ODST, still believe there will be another game as an ODST. Probably be a prequel to Reach. Hopefully explain the backstory to the squad or events that lead to the games.
