This is probably an easy question, but what programming language is Halo 2 being programmed in?

A programming language, you know, C++, C, SmallTalk, Cobol for you guys who got their jobs back for Y2K.

I'm thinking C++. That's what most games use. I'm not really sure, though. It could be something completely different.

I was thinking that too, I am currently learning C++ and am on data arrays. It's a far cry from game programming and it's stupid to think you can do anything even close to Halo without a staff behind you. But I figure a game like that displays great power in a language, and whatever language it is, I want to learn.

Wow! Something we agree on. I also want to learn what ever it is that Bungie programs with.

I'm not in any classes right now, but I'm planning on taking C and C++. Since you are studying them, can you tell me if they as hard as my friends say they are? One guy I know told me that it took him 2 years to learn how to make a Paint type program that just drew. It didn't have an eraser, color, or anything else... Just a pencil-ish grapihic and a pad that you could draw on.

It's not terribly hard right now, most of the things I am doing now are MS-DOS console based, yet, a peg or two below the A.I Code of an Elite. I don't want to spam the bored with details so check your personal message box.
