So i was playing 343GS (for a change), and when i teamed up with my marines at the end of the level we started our trek across the swamp. But all of a sudden all of the marines stopped moving. Not sure why but they all got stuck in a long line, side by side. Anyways, the flood kept coming and they didnt stand a chance. The marines had so much firepower between them, shotties, PRs and ARs that the flood couldnt even get close.Bit weird, but i thought i'd share it. Marines can actually be quite effective killers!!! *shock*
heheh hard to believe :) If you can manage to do it again i'd like to see how they'd fair with only plasma pistols ;)
It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC
The amriens are very helpful. When i first got halo alls those years ago i depended on them in the first fiew missions.
o fcourse marines can be affective killers, they need the right weapons.for example, if you give a marine a pistol, he would die quickly, but if you give him a shotgun, a whole different story.
