bah

What about the superconducting fibrification of his neural dentrites? That would be a bionic implant. And the neural interface is absolutely electronic. A cyborg does not have to have any mechanicl parts.

It does not have to be a mechanical adaptation.

well i kind of just ignored that, sorry but it is in the game that he is a cyborg and the game is the thing that started the books and everything so i think it is slightly more important in an evidentual sense.

CYBORG = A human with mechanical augmetations.

That explains everything... He's both Cyborg AND Human...

LET IT DIE MAN, LET IT DIE...

Again, for the fifth time, CYBORG MEANS HUMAN! Saying he is both is redundant, like saying Sahara Desert, sahara means desert.

bah

CYBORG=A human who has certain physiological processes aided or controlled by mechanical or electronic devices.

From my knowledge, they were enhancing the Spartan's nerves not adding mechanical objects to their bodies. As I already said Rip Saw, in an earlier post, with the exception of the nearal implant, the Spartans are human. If you are saying the Spartans are cybernetic organisms because of their neural implants, then all UNSC personel is a cyborg. Sorry, but I just read and typed all of that directly from the book, and I dont see any proof that from the experiments, augmentations, and enhancements conducted on the Spartans, that there is any reason to believe they are not human. They feel pain when injured, bleed when wounded, they smile when happy and have a ton of other emotions which is evident when John saw is fellow Spartans get boosted of into space after dying from the augmentation, he was upset. Cyborgs have no emotions, they are machines.

FOR THE -blam!- 100000th -blam!- TIME, IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE MECHANICAL!

Also, where does it say Cyborgs are emotionless, my grandfather has a pacemaker and he loves me.

Do you even know what superconducting fibrification is? That is making the nerve firber endings into superconductors for ultra fast electron transport with no loss of electrons.

Listen, a cyborg is a human with cybernetic modifications. The Master Chief is a cyborg and a human because human is his species, but he has cybernetic mods.

Cyborgs are not machines those are androids. I know because I always wondered this same question until I looked up cyborg in the dictionary.

Anyways, look, I have given up on trying to change your minds because I understand thats not going to happen. It goes the same with me, I read it from the book and it is my opinion that the Chief is more human than cyborg, and you cannot change that. Everyone has an opinion and this one is mine.

You don't understand....there is not such thing as more human than cyborg. All a cyborg is is a human with preformance enhancing abilities...and yes, all UNSC personally are technically cyborgs.

What do you not understand? I am not arguing with you anymore, I said I have an opinion that I intend to strongly stand beside. I have quit tried to change your mind, dont you think you should give it a rest?

No, considering there were about 7 other people on your side of the argument who have not stated what you have.

Please look it up and you will see that he is a cyborg and a human. It is like saying that someone is human and male. That person is both, and one does not negate the other.

 • 05.07.2004 2:07 PM PDT

bah

Cyborg=Square
Human=Rectangle

All squares are rectangles!
