(Also posted in Zanzibar) Just thought this is where to do it for the Update
Network Problems
The Problem:
When me and my buddy try to join eachother's party we encounter networking problems, but we can join if a third party is the host of the party, what's worse is that if that host leaves and either of us becomes the new host, one of us is getting lagged out, (this also includes games). This has been going on for two weeks, and it's REALLY GETTING ANNOYING; the funny thing is, we only live 15 miles apart (using two different ISP's Adelphia cable, and time warner cable).
Possible Causes (opinion only):
At first I thought it was maybe bungie protecting the Halo 2 online community from the dominating double team that formed when we got together, or maybe it was phantom bunnies chewing at our virtual network wires, or maybe still it was a sabotaging of Halo 2 by the disgrunted guys at Super Smash Spartan.
In the end, I have succumbed to much deliberation and decided that I HAVE NO IDEA what's going on.
Tried and Tested not so Potent Remidies:
We have both rebooted our modems, routers, and xboxes, tried different accounts, and i have tried a different xbox on a different connection (albeit still on Adelphia) none of which have alleviated the symptoms.
Any Sugguestions to what we should do would be much appreciated. Are we the only people suffering from this?
