hey i dont know where to go to post some comments about reach, so im goin to put it here

when i played an objective game in halo 3, and when i looked at the motion sensor, there was a little arrow that pointed out where the objective was, i think we need that in reach, cause whenever im killin someone on invasion slayer, and im running around in circles i sometimes loose where the destination is.

then on regular invasion, i beleive that the core respond time is a little bit too long, i think it should be shortened by at least a little bit.

and, just too toss this out there, i cant see the knife on the spartans shoulder....i see the holister but no knife..

and if you play the game, which im sure you will....cause its an AMAZING game, you should look at how the spartan/elites switch weapons...when they are wearing a jetpack it doesnt rlly look like they are doing anything other than pulling a gun out of their pocket and the shotgun(or any other gun) just magically appears on the back

but dont get me wrong i really love halo:reach, and its just the beta which says that i will deffinently buy the games...basically im saying
BUNGIE IS AMAZING!!!! XD

A lotta people talking about adding a "join game in progress feature" to deal with quitters, but come on... who is gonna use that? When someone quits MOST of the time because its an idiot who can't just have fun and gets raged out that they are on a loosing team. Who is gonna want to join a team midgame when more than likely they'd be joining a team that's loosing. A lot of people on B.Net like myself, who are just playing for fun (weird thing to do in a GAME I know) might be fine with it, but your average person won't bother joining a game in progress... unless you got some kind of bonus for it I suppose, or your forcing people to a game join in progress.

Heck I really don't care bout ppl quitting, it makes the game more interesting. If bungie had the autojoin feature like other games that would fix the oh crap my whole team just left me problem. Because their system would join in some fresh backup.

i kinda like the idea that people wont quit as much, it makes the game fairer and more fun. i just wish people would betray each other for things like the flag on one flag or stockpile, or the oddball.

i think that they should take friendly fire off for team objective games cos everyone betrays in them and it makes you want to avoid the objective so you wont get betrayed.

yeah you are right. bungie should make the match making system like COD6. that way you find game much faster.

yeah but with the armour lock while you wait another enemy comes and atcs you and when you kill him u got low health and have to deal with the armour lock guy.

The Battle Rifle's decease? Good riddance.

The Designated Marksman Rifle's advent? Openly welcomed.

Reading the fix on flag juggling made me squeal like a little schoolgirl. No more exploit! =D

Dragon spartan D133

Ok your stupid and a dummy thehaikumaster just like the other stupid people out there who play this game for some kind of dum reward in your own head so this go's for all players will are for a quiter ban or any other kind of ban for anything short of cheating or boosting so pull the controller out of your butt and play for some fun for once in your life players huh sounds fun huh.

Join Planet Reach
Hog sniping
Exalted is considered "the highest" because you can't get any bans or warnings of any kind for quite a long time, which is harder than just being a member for a long time.

Great stuff, Urk.

Thanks for the rundown!!

The quit-bans are gonna be awesome!

Halo: CE > > Halo 3 > Halo: Reach = Halo 2

Thank goodness for the reticule fix, that was/is killing me.

Now if you would increase the pistol and dmr to a 4sk and increase the pistol clip to 12 i'd be one very happy Halo 1 zealot.

Is there anyway that you guys at bungie could include a mode that uses items like you did in Halo 3? I was a big fan of those.

  • 05.10.2010 12:25 PM PDT

Im confused... since it doesnt negatively affect players to just sit still in a match and do nothing, does this new quitter ban increase the chance of me just saying F it whenever a gametype I dont like comes up. Currently whenever someone picks stockpile and I dont like it, I would like to leave right then and there(not always...) but the quitter ban, makes me more likely to just sit around and be a target for whoever, still weakening my team and giving the other team more points.

Or for instance, in team slayer(for the sake of argument, lets say I hate it). and i just stay in the game. I give the other team tons of free kills, because i dont want to face the wrath of the quitter ban. Wouldnt it have just been better for my team if i left the match?

  • 05.10.2010 12:31 PM PDT

Stop trolling.

That quitter ban better be able to distinguish when a player actually quits, and when they lag out, because i've already lagged out of like a million matches in the beta.

well i dont think the pistol should be even more powerful..if anything i think it should at least be weaken by a little bit, because i get shot in the head 4 times (while im shooting back with the AR continuously) and they kill me and all i do is get their shields

the pistol should be weaken a bit cos its like as powerful as dmr. im liking the quitter ban idea but it might be better if it could tell the difference.

Marlowe fire, if you dont like the game type just try to kill people, that helps your team and you dont have to quit. quitting is for wimps who cant outlast a game they dont like.

i like the look of halo 3 genades better, the new ones look like rotten pinapples. they should keep the halo 3 look of genades, because they deffiently look the best.

All of the fixes sound great, however...watering down frag grenades ...again? It already takes more firepower to kill in Reach than in any other previous carnation of Halo. (Which is why the numbers of assists are through the roof and multi-kills are down) In the Halo 3 beta, the grenades were powerful and perfect...but then they were weakened severely for the final release. Can't we just leave the grenades alone? Obviously, you guys feel in the gut that they should be more powerful, that's why you keep making them that way for the beta releases.

You mention max credit but I wanna know why only gold was shown. When do we get the onyx bad boys like these?

Great update... if I knew what the crap you were talking about half the time. Just kidding mang! You have distinct writing style.

Glad to hear the ban hammer is getting more powerful and precise.

  • 05.10.2010 4:25 PM PDT

nah i think ill just stay in the match, go smoke a cigarette and let my team fail without me.

i agree the genades should be left like the are powerwise. but i still think they should look more like halo 3. these look like rotten pinapples.

i still wish they would take off friendly fire for team objective games. to those who betray in one flag to get the flag, u all suck. stop betrayin.

and armour lock should have a longer recharge time otherwise its a spam and the pistol i think, is a little overpowered. its basically a DMR with short scope. they should either weaken the pistol a bit or make the DMR a little stronger.

i also think that it would be better if you could join games already in progress. that woul be better, faster and more fun.

"How does 90 millimeters of tungsten strike ya?"

I love love love the idea of punishing quitters, Nothing I hate more than people who quit when they dont get what they want or when they start losing. However, i have a question regarding this, is there a time limit in which the banhammer will "reset". What i mean is, If i have a quit today, and a single quit tomorrow, and i only have a quit every day. Does it build up unti l the banhammer doesnt love me anymore? I personally would not abuse this. I ask because i dont quit, BUT i have had my internet die before :tear: Of the couple thousand halo 3 games i play, i have a penalty of somewhere in the ball park of 90 quits. and 90 percent of the time my internet died for either maintenance or some hiccup in my connection. I'm not a quitter, But said hiccups worry me in the long run and what punishment lies in wait if i get 10 quits in every couple hundred. I have quit before because of jerks who trashtalk on my team, but playing with friends and the automute feature have remedied that. I just don't want to get "banned" for a disconnect that registers as a quit, I know that there has to be a threshold SOMEWHERE so people that just unplug their box when they're unsatisfied with hos the game's going. I'm just worried about how it stacks up over the long run.
