This isn't the same error as the other where it won't load the campaign or whatever, atleast I THINK...

Today, about half an Hour ago I turned on my Xbox. It just said, Open Tray instead of Play Halo 3 ODST where it normally does it under my xbox. I thought my sister had been messing around with my xbox so I opened the tray and it was still there. I closed it and it just said Reading. It did it for about 5 minutes before I opened the tray again.

I opened it again and It went into the black transfer screen that you get going from dashboard to game and this message pops up and sends me back to the dashboard "Game unreadable. Please clean with a soft cloth" or something like that.

I've been playing it for 2 days, about 2 hrs a night (beta) and today, it just decided to stop. There is a small scratch near the do-nut hole of the disk. Could that be it? it's been there a while though

So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

nevermind.

Sounds like you need a new Xbox 360.

All other games work fine.

its the odst disc. thousands of them had been printed on low quality discs. I had to buy a new one for the beta.

The XBOX 360 often scratches the disk itself. No big deal, GameStop may replace it for you. If not, you need a new copy.
