halo 2 may servers are officially offilne but there is a somewhat large community playing online... im one of them. How is this possible you ask? well this is very possible indeed with Xlink kai you can play halo 2 online with other people again, no you cannot do matchmaking but you can do system link.

let me tell you how this all works; Xlink kai is a nice little program that lets you play discontinued games online eg. halo 2

Installing Xlink is very simple, just goto http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/

the system link thing works like this; when you have your Xlink installed and youve chosen a server load up halo 2 and click on system link then a bunch of games will pop and this is how you play halo 2 online, there is also another program that lets you do this but Xlink is the best and only way to play halo 2 online on xbox...

Population around 300+ people playing via Xlink

forgot to mention Xlink lets you use voice :D

that'd be awesome, everything I've found says I'd have to mod the HDD. Using the Maps Disc leaves me without the two final maps and the final update.
