One of these days when i get some money to spend as i please I will buy Xbox Surround Sound system and set up a remote control light system and figure out a way to make the lights function to the mood of my Xbox (its quiet and spooky= lights dim..... Flood jumps out and scares the crap out of you= Lights flash and flicker) That would rock immensly.

The Master Chief emerged from his code. After seeing his dynamically lit realtime shadow, he went back for 9 more months of development.

Behold the power of the Originals, the Gods Axeone-Neurone.

You don't have to get an Xbox brand surround sound system. You just need a Dolby compatible system.

It's around $500 American, to be sold publicly in the U.S. this month (August). [It's already sold in Canada.] It's the set that Bungie uses in their offices, and is some kind of audio benchmark for gaming. After viewing the technologies they have in there, it really is a good deal. Frankie O'Connor did a "Top Stories" piece about Halo Home Theater awhile back where he talks about it.

As for me, I'm going instead with Kenwood's Fineline Series HTB 710, the reason being that it also has totally out of the box Dolby 5.1 Surround for HEADPHONES (all that's required is a pair of normal stereo headphones). If it weren't for that, though, I'd definitely be going with the Spherex 5.1 for Xbox.
