all too often i encounter people on the ctf bungie servers who like to team kill and get people kikked from the server... once they go 4 you there is no way to stop them.. usually they are crap players so i defend my self only if they take action against me first 9 times out of 10 i end off killing them because they cant even shoot straight as a result of this i have been banned from 2 bungie servers which is REALLY UNFAIR all i want to do is play in piece with my friends but now i am limited because of these stupid idiots getting my banned... can bungie please do something about this it is really unfair i was only defending myself i should not be peanilised for other peoples actions. its those who spoil the game 4 others who r getting away with it and are able to continue ont he servers ................WHOS WITH ME SAY EYE!!!!!!

it's "aye" by the way
AYE!
it's true, there are increasing numbers of people who are on bungie's servers just to irritate everyone else. it's due to the lack of moderators. they know no one can stop them. we've gone over this in the past, and bungie refused to do anything. when a TK'er appears, the best thing to do is go to a different server for a while.

I want to say that HPC can auto-tk-ban someone.... I know HCE has that functionality built in - I've used it.

HPC does have auto tk bans inspire, but there are ways around them.

the default TK ban on a bungie server is 3 tk's. the way these people get around it is by killing 2 teamates, leaving the game, comming back in, and tking again. somehow, they can leave and come back in within 5 seconds. when they leave, their record is reset, so they don't have to worry about thoes 2 TK's they just commited.

so people get irritated by this constant TKing, and retailate. they don't try to get around the ban, and as a result they get banned whilst the TKer stays in the server.

I wrote a long post about this a while back. Just bumped it so you can read it again. there are a lot of different types of TKs (TeamKillers) out there. The point of their actions is not really to cause chaos (that's just a bonus for them). What they are trying to do is get you to ban yourself. Check your fire and don't retaliate.
