Damn you 353 guilty spark! You killed the greatest stereotypical african american gun toting sergeant ever to tread upon a fictional futuristic setting!

Is it really important that they all lived if Bungie doesn't plan on making an ODST sequel? I went into the dark setting of ODST assuming the Rookie was literally the only survivor of his squad, only to find out every single one of them survives. As awesome as this game was, there was virtually no grief effect at the end; and the struggle felt as if there was no loss when the mutual feeling in the beginning is war is all about loss.

Guide to immortality : Sleep with Life

I had a pretty big time thread once.

Here's me bragging about it.

I must agree with what you said. Since the game had such a dark setting, some allied deaths should have happened.

I thought towards the end of the campaign, when Buck went back to save Dare, he should have died. It would have added to the dark feeling.

Exactly. I figured since there were no plans on a sequel (as it is literally just an expansion anyway) there would be no holds barred on character loss. I would've been perfectly fine with half the team being killed, then it would have felt more like a struggle where consequences do indeed take place.

Plot armor? As if it were necessary for all of them to survive? The plot would indeed suffice without them.
