I suppose this is one step further than spriting since I am using more detailed shading. I am trying to make a Warhammer style game using Game Maker only you have smaller selection of units and individuals in your group level up. I guess it would be more accurate to say I'm working on a Necromunda or Mordheim Halo game.

In either case, here is what I have so far for weapons. It's not much, but i will updates as I finish more of them. I used a combination of Paint, Game Maker and Photoshop to create these images. I am still very new to Photoshop and I am somewhat of a Paint/Game Maker veteran.

Assault Rifle - Steps: Top is complete, middle with basic colours and the bottom one is an outline. The Top and Bottom versions will be used in-game. Top for a purchased Assault Rifle and the bottom for the schematics before you have purchased it.

Assault Rifle - Final: Here is the final stand-alone image for the Assault Rifle.

Pistol - Steps: Again, top is complete, middle with basic colours and the bottom one is an outline. The Top and Bottom versions will be used in-game. Top for a purchased Pistol and the bottom for the schematics before you have purchased it.

Pistol - Art:And just because I'm an artist and it's fun, here is the pistol. I want to put it on my wall.

Some people may say that having the outlines and not blurring the image at all makes it look pixely. I agree, but who says that's not what I was going for?

So, any feedback? I am not new to the Gallery Forum, but I am a relatively new poster in the forum. Like I said before, I will try to post more and keep you all updated.

Thanks. Usually it takes longer for me to make these, but it only took about 5-10 minutes for the Assault Rifle.
