To put it simply, Bungie advertised this game as supporting online multiplayer. If this is supposedly the case, why is this game incapable of holding an online session?

The game is perfectly capable of supporting online multiplayer. Although the game is very bandwidth-heavy and is prone to lag-outs, if your connection to your friends' consoles are good, then you shouldn't have too much of a problem.

I have no issues with it holding Online Multiplayer lobbies or games. Evidently YOU have a problem here, not the game. Look at your NAT type, to start with, then check your upload/download speeds, and your general online connection.

However, seeing as you think it is all the game's fault, I suggest you google these terms first.

Well, since every other game works perfectly online, and ODST is the only one that doesn't, I must have unknowingly changed something every time I put it in and take it out of the Xbox.

Based on the fact that ODST is the only game of mine that DOESN'T work online, I can conclude that at least some of the problem lies within the game itself.

A while back, my NAT type changed to Moderate without any changes on my side, and I have not been able to forward ports to fix it. I'll the first to admit that I don't know much about that stuff, but I have tried a lot of times, unsuccessfully. (We have 2 Xboxs in the house, and apparently ports can only forwarded to accomodate 1 console.)

Regardless, though, ODST is the only game that doesn't work.
