Philosophy and philology is my game.

Rookie= Amateur Gordon Freeman impersonator

Anyone else work out how the ODST squad have grown to accept him without question or inquiry into his silent riposte to life? Poetic extravagence or lazy character development from the Bungie writing department?

This is just for the laughs, and is actually an idea copied from the ever enlightening Encylopedia Dramatica*.

(*= seriously? If anyone thinks I'm going to insert a link to that site, then go and find it yourself you degenerate twit!)

"Faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death."

- Hunter S. Thompson

Or maybe he doesn't want to speak because he fears personal attachments to his new squad-mates. After all, his previous squad got totally wiped out. He probably doesn't want to experience that pain again?

Or he's mute from experiencing a great shock.... Lots of possibilities. But a Gordon Freeman Impersonator isn't one of them! =P
