I'm sure there's a lot of people here that are anticipating Halo 2. And I'm pretty sure most of you have seen the Halo 2 Theatrical Trailer. But what most people didn't see with that trailer, is the hidden advertisement at the end, where it displays the Xbox logo and underneath that, says- "www.xbox.com". If you look at it closely, it'll flicker and say- "www.ilovebees.com".
If you visit www.ilovebees.com it appears that some "hacker" has ransacked the whole entire site leaving it a complete mess. At the homepage of www.ilovebees.com you'll be greeted with a timer; What's it counting down to? Nobody knows, but it has something to do with Halo 2 and is estimated to finish counting down at August 25'th.
Now, obviously this is just a ploy by Bungie/Microsoft to build hype for something. You can clearly tell that because if the site owner "Dana" was actually having this problem, she would have simply contacted her web host and got it resolved like any other normal person that has a website would. And if you're still not convinced that this isn't a hoax by Bungie/MS, look at the source of the meta tag-
<META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="honey, bees, Margaret, small business, beekeeping,
hives, retail, market, Operator, bug, buggy, virus, infestation, WTF is
going on with this damn thing, parasite, strong intrusive inclination, medium,
messages, shipwreck, network throttling, SOS, hoax, game, bee hoax, bee game,
survivor, survive, evade, resist, escape, a little help would be appreciated,
thanks and tip your waitress, sleep, is, good, install, reinstall,
re-reinstall, re-re-reinstall, I, love, bees">
Who would really put all those words and phrases in their keywords that's running a legitimate "bee website", unless of course you wanted some mass attention.

There have been a lot of theories as to what the timer is counting down to. A lot of people have said "It's the actual release date of Halo 2" or "It has something do with the story of the game".
The thing that's striking some people, is that Halo 2 has been rated by ESRB. It's rated M (Mature). Now, if the game isn't finished, how could they rate it? Wouldn't it be rated RP (Rating Pending)?
Here's a site that'll give you a better understanding about the ESRB rating system- Click Here
I personally don't know what it's counting down to, but I can pretty much say for sure what it's not counting down to, and that's the release of Halo 2. If it was the actual release date of Halo 2, Bungie/MS would have announced by now, that the whole thing is a hoax and they would have started advertising the new release date.
If I had to take a guess as to what's happening on August 25'th, I'd say their might possibly be a closer release date announced or possibly a demo being released.
What does everyone else think is going to happen on August 25'th?
