I think it would be a good idea to have some sort of Bungie Tracker. This would basically be a list of all the posts that have been made by Bungie folk. This way we would have quick reference to all material we could consider "official;" from why the Bungie moderaters prefer to lock posts instead of deleting them to whether we'll actually see the ATV in Halo 2. I'm no programmer, but I figure it would basically be a static search when you click on the link. It would just search for all posts by all Bungie people and display them with the most recent first.

An example of what I'm talking about can be found at the SWG forums: Dev Tracker

I think it would be very useful. What do y'all guys think?

Just my thoughts,
Poocho :)

P.S. I just love how when I sign out of Hotmail for security, the post I just spent a decent amount of time typing up gets erased when I try to preview it. *mutter mutter* ;)

*copies entire post to WordPad before doing anything*

But with all the posts they've made, it could fill a whole page of topics!
Seriously, though, I think they should have an individual user post counter instead, in each user's profile.

Right. That's great! And it's likely to grow to several pages as they continue to post. The whole perpose of the Tracker is to see all the posts they made so we can find "official" information quickly.

I'm sure you had a point in there, but I somehow missed it.

It's called humour, hence the "Seriously" afterwards.

Tracker is pretty neat. Hopefully when search comes it will at least have a way to search for 'posted by'.

I've got another variation/addition to that Bungie Tracker idea. How 'bout a little indicator--like a checkbox or something--next to each thread showing whether it was looked at by a Bungie employee. This, I think, could help satisfy those who are desperate for attention from Bungie by showing them that they really are keeping an eye on things.

So, what do you think? A decent idea, or no?
