Tell him that since it's gonna be rated M that he's too young to play it anyway.

Yeah tell him he's too young to play a gory game like Halo 2 but buy him something really cool to distract him from you playing Halo 2.

How can he become desensitized to violence if you wont let him play it?

If you bought him Halo 2... he would end up getting mad at you later down the line for something and say "You can't play my games," in which you'd be screwed because it is his game. I'd say wait until the 9th of November and buy it for yourself.

Buy him a Teddy Bear and paint a visor on it.

My experience is, ALWAYS own your best games yourself, otherwise li'l bro will at some point say you can't play it because he think you should have done dinner yesterday or whatever. Luckily I've never been into that situation, but my bro has tried to keep from playing his games because he wanted me to do things. Luckily I 100% own the XBOX Halo our best PC, all the games for PC (except the Pink Panther) our PS2+our best games for that.

Buy the limited edition and give the tin to him. Tell him it'll make a nice piggy bank? Then maybe organise an elaborate plan to make it look like someone else stole the tin? or ...

You know what, just buy two copies. Buy him the normal one.

Yeah, give him the manual and tell him he can recite it while you play the game... And make sure he knows it's an honor.

haha! if you want to be particularly cruel - Hide all your pads. You'd obviously keep one, but keep it on you all the time. Around your neck, somewhere he cant reach.
