Xbox version in every way. It lacks online play though. BTW who needs online MP when you can have LAN's, they are way cooler. Also if you want the best online experiences go w/ Xbox Live, it's way better than anything the PC has to offer. They are both great games, it just depends on your taste. Hell if you can't decide, just get Halo 2, it owns them both as far as MP is concerned.

Erm...Choad, have you tried Halo Custom Edition? You'd see, then, how the PC is better.

But like you said, its all opinion.

I think they're both good. But I prefer Halo PC because online multiplayer is free and it'd take a while for me to adapt to the Xbox controls. And until I do, I'd probably be getting my ass kicked all over the place. For me, I'd be better at Halo PC.

xbox and pc's both have their own little advantages:

Xbox:
*lan parties
*able to render high graphics settings
*sound in cutscenes isn't off timing, as far as i can remember.
*gamepad controls for those that prefer it
*simple, very little that can go wrong

PC:
*Free online multiplayer
*High resolutions on capable pc's
*mouse+keyboard accuracy
*Halo Custom Edition
*Mods
*Running Servers
*Maps and Checkpoints load faster

feel free to add to my list.

Hmm, you realize PC LAN's have been around for ages? In our neighborhood pc LAN's are far more fun because it isn't about just the game. We see who can overclock the farthest, who has the most pimp rig of all; can't do that with XBox.

XBox Live is great if you don't want to select a map or server and love playing hackers and kids screaming 'f this' and 'f that'. I've played ti and was thoroughly annoyed by every person on it.

PC has more freedom and possibilities. For some, that's not what they want, but I do...

This is like stepping on an ant pile...

Just wear thick boots. With steel toes.

1: from reading these pro Xbox posts I can only deduce one thing:
you have never played halo PC or have never played it without an overclocked celeron and bare minimum specs.

Halo PC looks better. Halo PC plays more comfortably from the keyboard and mouse than the controller. Halo PC is better, especially with the release of Custom Edition.

Go back to the Library kids. You'll only get hurt playing in here.

Eh... well, seeing that you posted in the forum section based on Halo PC, you could first infer that most of the members will vote PC... which I vote...
