If we disagree, it's nothing personal, opinions are opinions.
Antagonizing me to build a false sense of worth is so damn cute.

Brighten your day with science.

I would have to say: Wake me when you need me- Master Chief Halo 3 at the end of the game when he goes into his Cryotube and tells Cortana that.

Yeah same.

Although I liked what that halo 2 grunt at the end of the H3 campaign had to say too :P

"Take my advice Rookie, you ever fall for a woman? *puts on helmet and looks at Rookie* "Make sure she's got balls." Buck, Halo 3: ODST

*Sticks an alien with Plasma Grenade* "I got your number!" Emile's firefight voice, Halo: Reach

*Reloads* "Looks like i'm taking a break, really i'm just reloading." Bucks firefight voice, Halo: Reach

*Pulls out heavy weapon* "Sergeant Major Avery Junior blow the hell out of your alien ass Johnson, reporting for duty!"- Sgt. Johnson's firefight voice, Halo: Reach

"You killed Poonflip! The flippiest poon i ever knew!"- Grunt, Halo 3

"Stay here, huddle close...no inappropriate touching." Brute, Halo 3:ODST

"Your on your own Noble....Carter out."- Carter, Halo: Reach

These are just some of the lines that i think are good ones...

I came for Halo, but I heard the Tru7h, fought thru Carnage, and stayed for Bungie.

I dont care if it's God's own anti- son of a -blam!- machine, we aint gonna let em have it! We're going to drown em in their own pool of blood!

  • 02.26.2012 10:46 PM PDT

Also, "We aren't paid for Friday hour", Marines! And also "If the Covenant want to wipe out this particular part of my history, fine by me." "Well maybe if you ask them nicely next time you see em, they'll be happy to oblige!"

Carter: ...Gotta get you off her, Lieutenant.

Six: Sir, you-

Carter: Don't wanna hear it.

Carter: Six...That A.I. chose you...She made the right choice

Johnson: We're not leaving him here.

Chief: Yeah, you're not.

Jun: Well, it's pointing a us a click-and-a-half east and 2000 feet underground.

Emile: And I didn't bring my shovel, Commander.

Carter: Your new A.I. friend tell you anything else Dot? Dot?

Dot: She's been expecting you.

Emile: That's perfect...

Johnson: Men, here's where we show those split-chinned, squid-head sons of -blam!-es that they could not have picked a worse enemy than the human race.

Im am a 15 year old gamer who loves halo and BUNGIE.

"Men, we led those dumb bugs out to the middle of nowhere to keep 'em from gettin' their filthy claws on Earth. But, we stumbled onto somethin' they're so hot for, that they're scramblin' over each other to get it. Well, I don't care if it's God's own anti-son-of-a---blam!-!- machine, or a giant hula hoop, we're not gonna let 'em have it! What we will let 'em have is a belly full of lead, and a pool of their own blood to drown in! Am I right, Marines?" -Johnson's speech on Legendary.

and

"Dear Humanity... We regret being alien bastards. We regret coming to Earth. And we most definitely regret that the Corps just blew up our raggedy-ass fleet!" - Opening cut-scene of Outskirts

Look me up on live (fishyryan9) :D

There may not be a "I" in team, but there is a "I" in Win.

I like the red vs blue part on the level where you cant get in the door in halo 3. makes me laugh every time or the random brute "rrraaaaggggrrr"

We are soldiers without borders, our purpose defined by the era we live in. This is our Heaven, and our Hell.

Im sorry guys but i just have to do this.

Terminal 7

" You don't know the contortions I had to go through to follow you here, Reclaimer. I know what you're here for. What position do I take? Will I follow one betrayal with another?

You're going to say I'm making a habit of turning on my masters.

But the one that destroyed me long ago, in the upper atmosphere of a world far distant from here, was an implement far cruder than I. My weakness was capacity - unintentional though it was! - to choose the Flood. A mistake my makers would not soon forgive.

But I want something far different from you, Reclaimer.

Atonement.

And so here at the end of my life, I do once again betray a former master. The path ahead is fraught with peril. But I will do all I can to keep it stable - keep you safe. I'm not so foolish to think this will absolve me of my sins. One life hardly balances billions.

But I would have my masters know that I have changed.

And you shall be my example.
"

You're probably never going to read this, but I have a theory.

"But I will do all I can to keep it stable - keep you safe."

In addition to hindering Halo's collapse, I think he learned a thing or two from the Gravemind about controlling flood, and perhaps has been aiding the Chief in this way. While not freezing them in their tracks, slowing them down to a point.

***By the way this is also my favorite thing ever written in Halo, I think it is an incredible feeling to know that Cortana, Arbiter, Johnson, Sentinels, and Mendicant Bias are all helping John get to the Control Room. Just reading that before starting the Legendary battle is amazing. It's a great mood to start the final level, and it's ironic how this message is never spoken, and it never needs to be.
