Five Tenets of Bungie.net Forum Life:
1. Trolls will always be well fed.
2. Blame-ability thy name is stosh.
3. Bungie has no control over retail prices.
4. Watch out for low-flying defense drones.
5. Seven is not optional, but rather, an inevitability.

First cause it's like I'm in the game.

It depends on the game. A game that offers both like The Suffering, to me it's better in 3rd person. So far I only own 1st person shooters, except for one game.

First person is superior because it helps with the immersion and it means that te developers don't have to worry about designing levels with room for the 3rd person "camera." Also, it's easier to aim in first person.

It all depends on the game shooters 1st of course but say adventure or rpgs 3rd is definately better.

i like 1st person but for certain games i like 3rd. like metal arms. i like that as a 3rd person shooter. but i would hate 3rd person halo.

well, i wouldn't hate it but it wouldn't be as good.
