i have to say my coolest Halo: CE moment would be playing the level Assault On The Control Room with my friend Nick in Co-op. it was great. Neither of us had played in months and we decided to tackle the level together. we were reading each other's minds. For example, one time he took point, and i had the rocket launcher. I fired a rocket at about head level right as he crouched. everything we did was perfectly in sync, without saying a word. I love when things like that happen. :)

my least fav thing about Halo 1 is the sniper rifle. I find it much more difficult to wield than in the later games.

343 guilty spark was one of most puzzling levels it really change the feel of the halo creating a new perspective of horror type level the small story in introducing flood was completing random but not in a bad way but in more of perspective on the mystery of what happen to them also at the very beginning of the level you just know shi* has hit the fan when you see grunts going ape shi* in fear and -blam!- just starts exploding all around you I do believe that in this is the level you get the shotgun for the first time truly showing you how much time and effort bungie but into this level Memorable moment in this level has to be where room with all the dead alien bodies. My least favorite thing about halo was the holy god power know as the pistol the gun is just to powerful and extremely cheap it really gets rid of AF knowing you can us the holy god gun it shows how boss it is by killing a hunter in like two shots in the orange -blam!- me light
btw be back in two hours to post more stuff

*Sips tea*

Whole damn campaign is memorable.

I mean honestly, yes, they did shortcut some levels (Library), but it seems they put heaps more work into some of those old Halo 1 levels than they ever did on any of the newer ones.

I hope that in their pursuit of "going back to the roots" with Reach, they'll take a good, long, hard look at the campaign of Halo 1.

I'm 23, I have a house, dog, girlfriend, job and I have no interest in any fanboyism so if you're thinking about sending me a childish PM, don't be surprised when I don't call back.

The first time I played 343 guilty spark, it's an amazing level.

Don't worry, you're still your mom's favorite Bnet member.

The greatest thing I ever experienced in Halo 1 was when I first encountered the Flood. Keep in mind I was 13 years old, so creeping through the swamp and then walking into this blood spattered room being chased by zombified monsters wasn't exactly pleasant. But the struggle to keep my marines alive when surrounded by the Flood in the mist was enough to make me love this game and this story.

However, my favorite level is The Maw, damn I love that Warthog run! :P

My least favorite thing about Halo 1, was that I thought the Chief was the only Spartan to ever exist, and when I found out their were others I was frankly disappointed. I thought I was humanities only hope! I know that wasn't exactly about Halo 1, but it kind of ruined the Halo 1 experience for me.

halo 1 in my honest opinion is never going to be topped by an other halo game sorry i just don't see it possible but that doesn't mean that halo reach is not awesome trust me its going to new way u see halo as a game besides story and interesting level making means a lot to me Halo 2&3 didn't have a great campaigns in my opinion but they brought enough stuff to keep us satisfied

Gf's kid had an X-box and I didn't. We co-op'd T&R and the dark, tight, corridors were scary and exhilerating at the same time. Before that I was only a sometimes player of video games and never owned my own console.
Combat Evolved ruined me. Now, nothing I try seems to catch that same wonder.

My most memorable moment would be throwing a sticky from the first generators landing pad on two betrayals and sticking a grunt on the snow bridge :D
