Your paintings are amazing. Wish I could paint like this in any media. I'm okay at drawing the figure, but I need to draw from life or reference to get details like fingers, hands and feet. If you did these sketches without reference for the poses then double kudos to you comrade.

wow! But the chiefs helmet looks a little weird. aside from that, it's awesome!
I think what Dbase is seeing is the helmet proportioned to the figure. It's perfect in the Chief & Chosen 1, because the armor has visible bulk, but in the others the armor seems a little too skin tight. The armor always bulks up a lot at right about the rib cage, and over the inside shoulders, and that helps the helmet not look quite as large as it actually is in relation to a human-proportioned head. In other words, bulking up the shoulders and upper torso will let you get the helmet the right size as it seems to be in Chief and the Chosen 1, or in Lone Wolf (Not MC but it's Spartan gear regardless).
The jumping pose of MC in Chief & Chosen pt. 2 is a bit odd, something to do with the pose of his right leg: could use some bulk and forshortening on the thigh. I know the other guy's arm is obscuring some of it but if that's a kneepad peeking out from behind the lower part of his arm, the thigh should be aimed more towards us in perspective than appearing to come straight down out of his hip, while the calf should look like it recedes more than it does. I know this ain't Marvel, but think Spidey's hanging poses.
Edit: Something like this pose? Leg is lifted up, the other leg pushing off. Note the ghost lines for how many times I messed up the length, too. Yeah, it's the webcam and didn't flip the photo before uploading, I'm lazy.
