You did a great job, but I wanted to point out one thing.

Make sure you get members, but don't stress over it.
Activity is what you really want.

Very true, but I find that high levels of members generally lead to high levels of activity, especially if the content is good.

Most people here realize this. But most everyone realizes that content and activity is most important. Its just that with some groups like MBT or CR the case is the more members the more activity. They are both equal. A group with 20 members can have 20 active people. Which could get very boring after a while considering groups have a specific purpose usualy. Discussing that one topic gets old.

So when you have more members like 1000+ you COULD have 1000+ active members. Truth is not everyone is going to always be on thou. So the more members teh more activity. CR has like 40 members that are always on and others that just watch and others that post every once in a while. MBT has about 70 active members and then the same thing. There is a correlation that most who say members are everything are missing.

More members almost always leads to more activity. And usually the big groups leave it to the members to advertise and such while the leaders focus on content. thats how MBT and CR do it at least.

Members are at least 40% of the equation.

Yep. The other 60% is pretty much content to encourage activity. Tech is right.

And more avenues of discussion makes more members interested in joining, not to mention, the more avenues of discussion, the easier it is to channel your group's thought in the direction of success as you see it...mmmmm =D

There are plenty to join, try the top 7 for examples...from there you will find people you like, and join their groups. It's a happy cycle =D

Dude, tell me why I can't make a group even though I've been active for 14 days? I made a thread and everyone kept saying it's been 13 days. I eventually just gave up and said that it has been. Can you please tell me? Oh, and they instructions about how to become a Theme Master isn't working. Oh, your not a Forum Ninja.

Sorry I haven't checked this thread in a while. Well you obviously can now, because you've been a member for about a month. =D

But as to your confusion prior to that, it was probably due to the Bungie.net group-making filter. It may have been a minor glitch or you were off by a couple of hours. If the problem persists today...then PM archronos immediately or report the bug.
