Pillar of Autumn: Stick to the tunnels, Guerrilla Warfare.

Halo: when you rescue marines just get some on your Warthog then kill the rest and leave. For any level, make sure you have a sniper in your pasenger seat, he is most accurate and effective.

T&R: At the beginning just take out elites first, then take a dead marines AR and gun the grunts, and grenade the jackals. You have 1 cloak near some trees just before the area with the gravity lift, don't use it, save it until you attack the area with the gravity lift, you kill at least 90% of all the enemies before your cloak is gone then pick off the remaining grunts. Just as your cloak wears off a pelican will come with more marines and you fight a handful of grunts/jackals. Then the gravity lift starts dropping people, if you look up to the very top of the lift you can see them coming down, just toss a grenade into the middle and start gunning them, when you gun them with plasma rifle/pistol they freeze long enough for grenade to kill them. Do this until you get inside the ship then you grab cloak just as the Sword-bearing elite finished the last marine, he will stay still, melee him along with everyone else then get in a hall and snipe everyone else down, you will get more sniper ammo later

Library: Shotgun and grenades!!! Use your shotgun when you see a group of Flood, try to hit around their mid-section there are roughly 15 pellets and you should kill at least one with every shot. Reload constantly, if you are hiding or don’t have a shot, you must reload your shotgun. You seriously must have at least 10 spare cartridges at all times, trust me you will need it when the Flood flood you! Another strategy is to hide behind corners and throw plasma grenades on the roof and they drop on the group of Flood.

I don’t remember the rest of the levels, so some more random stuff: if there are cloaked Elites just shoot them, they don’t have shields and they lose cloak. It's best to keep either a human and covenant gun or human and rocket launcher. Only on the Library do you ever use only human.

If you have trouble with the rocketeers, just grenade them while jumping, they will miss you and you will kill them, then grab the rockets and cover your tail, (best not to kill everyone, just run until there’s nobody in front of you then turn around and run backwards while shooting, never stop unless you have to)

P.S.I doubt 10% of the people who read this will need to... just waiting for an hour so I can submit my schedule and I felt like saying it :)

well, now none of them are hard. in fact, they are all easy. but at first T&R was the hardest (right BEFORE you get inside) but now i have such a great strategy.

Keyes - near the end with all the Spec Ops elites guarding the banshees in Legendary.

If you try to stand your ground, yes, that sitch right there is extremely difficult. Toss a grenade into each opened door, Bring the sniper rifle for the invisible elites and a plasm rifle for the rest

Oka, most of what you said was true, except what you said about some people not needing to read this:

My friend that I play with very frequently have both beat it on Legendary, BUT we had to do it with co-op and many kamikaze runs. Granted we can't even drive yet (well he can, damned drivers pemit...) and we aren't that good, but we need all the advice we can get. I am planning a major Halo fest the weekend Halo2 comes out in my room and we'll be doing both games all the way through in succession, both on Legendary! YAY!

Anywho... The most effective tactic for us in the "Tuba Trails" as some call it apparently, at the part with thw twin Wraiths and theapparently unkowna amount of Active camoflauge Elites was to do Kamikaze rounds until they all died. That tactic worked until the Active camo Elites killed us both... that sucked.

thanks on the hints by the way
