i think this might actually be the only post iv'e ever made that people might agree with, but then again maybe not so here goes...

If i could change one thing about halo or put one thing in halo 2 it would be a statistics chart like the one you see in perfect dark for example.

this way having your character would be a little more than just a color and name it would be a record!

here is the proposed stat chart

Name-
time played-
games played-
games won-
games lost-
kills-
deaths-
assists-
flag scores-
ball time-
hill time-
#of killing sprees-
#of running riots-
#of killtaculars-
#of consecutive killtaculars-
accuracy%
headshots(sniper,pistol)
teammates killed-
plasma straps-
times killed by the guardians-

it wouldn't be in this order and there would be more stuff but you get the idea

you would have to have played perfect dark to know what i'm talking about but their should be a ranking system, like when you make a new character you start at level 20:grunt
then it moves down such as at level 15:jackal
10:elite
8:hunter

so you have a rank ten at 1 you are spartan or something

but to do that you would have to have won like thousands of games and crap.and you can choose cooler LOOKING armor. just look cooler because it would be -blam!- if it made you stronger or something the stats would help make teams too.

well, do you agree? i don't see what would be bad about the idea and microsoft could give people a reason to buy memory cards (to bring your bad A character to other houses.

so i guess if you can't spend 10-15 bucks than that would be the 1 bad thing

I, personally, don't like that idea. All you would have to do is create three more profiles and play on split-screen, play with your badass profile, kill the other three people that just stand there, rack up the scores, head-shots, killtaculars, etc. and delete the bad profiles when you're done. Something as sleazy as this comes naturally to me, I don't quite know why though. My point is that it is extremely easy to make yourself look like you have skill when you don't.

Hmmm.the statisics could be reset to (0/none as a option) on each of the thing's you have done(accuracy, shots, etc)before a new match start, that would be great to clean up unnessessary high scoring statistic :)

That would defeat the purpose of the entire score keeping.

I like the sounds of it, but I agree with the fact that people will just play MP by themselves against fake players and rack up their stats. However I don't see this really making a diference except for on the Live community. If someone wants to fake his/her stats just to show off to friends then that's their own problem, and so here I don't really see it as making a difference!? But to plaster them on Live where noone really knows the difference would be a downfall to it.
any thoughts on this?

You could save your statistic after each match when you have the "reset stats to Zero" option on.OR!"press A to save stats to HD" "press B for back to menu" "press X to reset stats to zero"
