Well considering I started out with Halo on a S controller (that's how I bought my xbox with the Small) and I use it all the time. I have 4 and all my friends use them too (since they don't have xbox's) and they're all fine with them too. S controller pwns.

i love big controls although if i could get the same layout on a controller in between the sizes it would be nice cause the size makes my hands hurt after i play halo for about 3 or 4 hours then i just crack my nuckles and kinda flex my hand then its back to halo

all these console manufacturers make their controller based on japanese demographics. who can blame them. but i am very very glad microsoft put the research into making a controller for the U.S. demographic. Americans typically have larger hands than the japanese. i should know i am around alot of japanese. my girlfriend and her family. let me tell you i need the original controller. that S controller is too small and delicate feeling. and i hate that microsoft went with the game journalist on that one and changed the default controller.i think it was a bad bad error. first off game journalist know next to nothing about games. seems they all say the same crap. plus i feel that the distance between the two analog sticks is better for FPS

my opinion?

clunker = crap

S = useable, but not my preferred

MicroCon by MadCatz = the king!

i get hand cramps using the large controller (clunker), albiet not very often, tho. the S is fine if i don't have my MicroCon lying around. the only thing i've found wrong with it is that the communicator for LIVE is a little loose. no harm done though.

for those of you who are compaining about accidentally turning on the flash light... what are you? gorillas? the MicroCon is even smaller than the S (by about 20%) and i have no problem with accidentlly hitting buttons. sometimes if i'm playing something like Soul Calibur II i miss a button occasionaly but no worries.

i have somewhat large hands, but i prefer the MicroCon to the larger ones. S is ok, but only because i have used it since my early Xbox days. just feels wierd to go back to the S after using the MicroCon for so long.

every one has thier tastes for games and contollers. mine's small and sexy.

Not one is better than the other people! It's just your opinion, just vote and say which controller you like. We don't really care to hear your life long story of how you found an xbox comtroller, sad but true. I'm not talking to anyone individually so don't get on me on how I'm wrong or why your controller is better than mine. I use the S controller, see wasn't that easy, lol.

yes i already voted but here is a reason. first of all is i grew up with small controlers. nentendo, super n., gameboy line, 64. thus i am used to small controlers. so the large was a too big of a size jump. yes it is more comfortable to hold, but i prefer the buttons close.

also the large is intended for those who have less dexterity. sence i use ASL (amercian sign language) every day, i don't have that problem.

Did you not read my post, most of us don't care why you like them or not. Unless this has become a controller convention.

Actually, I am quite interested in what other people think, so don't just go around telling people to shut up. Have respect.
