I just finished reading this book and it was great. My only question that maybe you might know is what happend to the three other spartans on the ship? And the one spartan who went flying with the doctor. In Halo 2 it doesn't explain, and there are no more books in the series or am I wrong?

The books were made by someone who had nothing to do with Bungie, Eric Nylund didn't do the second one because he didn't want to screw up. What i'm getting to is Bungie didn't follow what the books said. In the Halo Instructional Booklet, It says you are the last of your kind, bred for combat (all that special stuff). Nylund, I guess, did that to make you think they were sent to different destinations around earth to fight the Covenant. Makes you think, don't it?

I wouldn't be suprised if they got seperated somehow. Some got debriefed, some got the new armor, and Master Chief is finishing up all that. Then the Covenant attack seperates everyone, especially when the Master Chief boarded In Amber Clad just as it left New Mombasa. No way the other Spartans could of followed the Master Chief because that was an unplanned last second thing. Oh, and the writers of the books are actually issued what is nicknamed the "Halo Bible" by Bungie so the story doesn't drift apart. It's not like Eric Nylund and William Dietz were just fanfic writers, or we would have tons of these books. You got to get a liscense from Microsoft and Bungie to publish a story directly relating to Halo. (Takes deep breathe) Few.

Explains alot thnx guys. :)

But sometimes its good to imagine what happened to the doctor and Spartan-kelly?

What did earth do with the knowledge of halo?

Which flood file did master chief give to ONI?

What about cortana's improved plasma weaponry?

Good questions maybe answered by another book...

It would take a while for Earth to to study the Improved Plama weaponary. Also, it would take a lot of time to organize and study the info from Halo. He didn't give the file that would kill Johnson, and god only knows what the deal with the Doctor is.

In the "Special Edition" of Halo 2 there is a "Conversations from the Universe" booklet with letters and such taken from both Humans and Covenant. One of the letters is one from Cassandra to John, and she says that she is in a hospital (or other medical facility). From the way she talks I'm pretty sure she's a fellow SPARTAN. I can't remember if she was mentioned in any of the books though. So at least we know there is at least one other SPARTAN on Earth in recovery.
