Why is it so hard to comprehend the idea some one has seen, heard, and knows enough people that cheat to have a pretty good idea what is going on and anyone good enough to have to deal with cheaters on a regular basis could be REALY FRIGGIN AGROVATED and hate bungie for being a bunch of cocky lieing bastards. If I am a cheater why is my account still active and only lvl 31. Is there a code of conduct for this form that I could of given a -blam!- about. If so they can feel free to ban this chatroom name.

relliK PIR,

You Seem Extremely Pissed However Your Words Carry Truth, This Week I Decided I Would Figure Out How People Cheat And Get Away With It. After Just 2 Days Of Searching Through Fourms I Have Found Out Just How Incapable Bungie And Microsoft Are At Getting Rid Of Cheats. All The Feed Back Goes Strait To A Save File In Your Xbox And Can Be Easily Trashed. Free Trials Are Easly Made All It Takes Is A Key Gen Program And Theyre Back On. Really Microsoft Has Put Too Much Responsability On Bungie To Control The Live Community And I Truly Feel Bad For Them. Theyre Fighting A Battle That Can't Be Won After All, For Every New Thing That Comes Out Within 2 Days Theyre Is A Hack For It And By Banning Custom Game Modders Theyre Only Giving Modders More Reason To Trash MatchMakeing The Only Way To Stop This Is To Build A Modding Type Gametype Just For Them And Then Everyone Will Be Less Pissed And Prople That Are Like Me Who Dosen't Mod On Live But Would Like To Do Fair Mods Will Have A Place To Screw Around With And Bungie Will Have More Customers.

You Can't Run Before You Can Walk...

You Should See Some Of There Forums Even Some Of The Ones In Here, It's A Breeding Ground For Creating Cheatn -blam!-s.

Good work on stoping the moders and their tagalongs. But what about the people who de level just so they can play people much lower ranked then them. I think that's bull. Also in clan matches my clan is a level 8 (yes I know it sucks) but we are all level 20-25 so were pretty close to each other. But when we go to clan matches we fight level 30's and up usually. I know it's based on clan level but can't you do something about it because it's really not fair. Like you said with the level system it's more fun to play people your own level and skill. Well me playing with level 42's in a clan match is NOT FUN! So could you please try to do something about that.

makepeice,

Adding a modding game type won't solve anything because people will stil join matchmaking just to be -blam!-s. I think that when you sign up for xbl there should be a scan of there xbox to see if there is any modified content. If so they should be alowed to sign up to a mod only server. And for people who get it after they sign up. If they are caut it should transfer them to the mod only server.

i wonder what xbox live is going to do when they realize bungie went on a RANDOM banning spree, which cause as many as 10,000 to go use two month free trials for xbox live, that were expired. wow all that money xbox live lost
Good job Bungie

I'm glad to see this... In spite of the bad gamesmanship and bad attitudes rampant on at least Halo, playing the game online was fun. However, the frustration of having to deal with modders who, apparently, are so bad at the game that they have to cheat to win was the last straw and I stopped playing for two months. At that point, the game was no longer worth trying to find time to play.

Perhaps now, with the steps being taken by you and your company, it will once again be worth it.

Its about time those fake level cheaters had something done about them. I dont know if they realise that there cheating not only has an impact on their levels but on us honest players who lose levels because we played against those modders. But despite Bungies good work so far the problem still exists so keep going Bungie.cheers

Is there anything Bungie can do to further reduce instances of playing against modders? Can they speed up the automatic banhammer process? In my experience modding is still quite prevalent, even as prevalent as it was before the automatic banhammer. The entertainment value of Halo 2 is severely reduced when every second or third game is against modders. Please Bungie is there not something more you can do?

Can't help but notice that the name of one of the top teams currently on Minor Clan is"We Mod So What." So you suck at Halo, THAT's what! And talk about lousy punctuation.

Oh, and I was wondering just how far this "tag-along banning" goes. I was invited onto a custom game and one of the guys in there was obviously modded. He was jumping 100 ft in the air, all over teh place. I eventually quit, as the game was pointless, but does me being on that game mean I could've been suspended? Another time, I saw a guy on another custom game running about as fast as a Ghost on boost--not an exaggeration! I only noticed him at the very end. Does that make me a tag-along? I hate being on the same map with these losers, so it would be infuriating to be suspended for it.
