Thanks for dealing with the cheating modders, but, and I don't mean to support something that is obviously wrong... but what's wrong with modding? I mean, cheating mods, yes, I would give any modder an excellent falsetto (don't get it? Go look up "eunuch") but I've seen some real mods and they were pretty cool. Why not allow modding in unranked games or even have a mod-accepting server. If they want to screw with their Xbox, let them. Just don't make us get involved. So, get the modders out of the system, but let's just isolate them like the the lepers they are. By the way, I am not a modder.
I know where you're coming from. I've played two games recently against modders who weren't very good modders. They modded the map so that all of us were affected. For example, we were playing on Warlock, and all the shotguns fired rockets, SMGs did extra dmg (but had half ammo) and I spawned with Overshield a few times. It was fun until the modder told his teammates to quit so he could superjump and one-shot us with BR. Well, he didn't rly "tell" them, more like he "screamed at them at the top his lungs". It was pretty pathetic. But yeah.. it would be cool if mods were allowed in Custom without getting you banned from MM. However, your idea wouldn't really work with how Halo 2 is set up on Live.
