i recently bought Halo 2 and it should arrive any day. I paid about a fiver for it (10 USD, i think) inc P&P, because its the only halo i have neither owned nor completed.

seriously, the furthest i ever got was with a friend until the scarab in new mombasa. never even knew there was a covenant campaign, high charity or extra halo ring until a couple weeks ago.

Is it worth it? whether for the experience, the completion of having all halo games or whatever, is it worth it?

Just stick it in and play. You'll know if it was worth it. Find all the skulls and get the Scarab guns. Play around with Sputnik too.

Also, the Legendary campaign of H2 is the hardest test of all the Halo's, so that should say something about it.

I'm just a regular Tiger roaming bnet.

Trust me its worth it for a few reasons
1) Covenant campaign
2) long campaign
3awsomeness

It's completely worth it. Halo 2's campaign is amazing.

It is the extras that make the halo 2 campaign special. There are countless fascinating easter eggs.

I am Katsu Kage, an assassin trained in the art of stealth. I was on a recon mission when I discovered a blue box hidden among some rubble. Once I entered the blue box it had taken me to a land far away. It was strange and fantastic! There I met PatikaVoom, the most beautiful woman I'd ever seen. She showed me this land, then returned with me to the blue box. She called it a TARDIS and seemed to know how to work it. We left together and have been on many adventures, with many more to come!

Oh yeah it is worth it!!

this may seem like a necropost, but whatever. halo 2 arrived 2 days ago. i played it for about 5 hours straight last night. it is EVERY bit as EPIC as promised :D:D:D.

so epic in fact, i may have to get Xbox Connect and play online MP for it *head explodes*

EDIT: the reason i necroposted was because if i made a new thread about the same subject, if that was worse or not than a necropost. i figured this may have been the lesser of two evils.

sheilds in campaign are pathetically resilient. Im playing on normal and i can be killed by a flood swarm, or four hits of a flood combat form. or two shotgun blasts :/

Damn you 353 guilty spark! You killed the greatest stereotypical african american gun toting sergeant ever to tread upon a fictional futuristic setting!

Yes, it is worth it. It is by far my favorite of the series.
