Ok so the color lettering in group forums still hasn't happened, but maybe this will.

I wish we could archive news off of our group homepages. I like to keep a clean frontpage but it is rather ard when you can't remove news with out perma-deleting. And I don't want to have to write more news just to remove the old.

So I vote for a nice little button that sends a news story to that misterious "Older News" folder.

What do you say (guys with the colored lettering)?

Why don't you just not post any news articles that you think would "messy" up your front page?

If you're not using your Articles section I'd recommend that you could archive your news stories in there, with such data as original time of posting and poster. It's just a suggestion because I don't believe there are any plans to work on the news section of the Column at this point in time.

Maybe you could make use of the "Custom" part of the resources.

Edit: Dangit Psyched, I didn't see your post there.

Well some news was very important 2 weeks ago but not at all now.

Those are good ideas actually; posting it to the resources or custom area. Thanks.
