The lag o non this game is almost like thth of two worlds. There r rumors tht the lag will be fixed but yet almost 2 years later the lag is getting worse and bungie hasn't taken one step to fix it. I try constantly to get endure but right when I'm getting close our game ends itself due to the lag. You would think that with the reputation n money tht bungie has they would be working to fix it and have good customer service to people who spent the money on the game but they won't even reduce the lag. Bungie, I've been a loyal halo player since I was 9.... don't let me down now.

Winner of the 2012 Lurker of the Year award.

I'm watching you.

Bungie cannot fix lag. Lag is caused by your crappy connection. You have no one to blame but yourself.

Lag is a server based problem only sometimes is it a user connection problem in odsts case its a server problem. Since its not only me thts lagging. Ask anyone whose ever played. Everyone lags which means its a server based problem which only bungie can fix

“Oh, it’s a little bit of everything, it’s the mountains, it’s the fog, it’s the news at six o’clock, it’s the death of my first dog, it’s the angels up above me, it’s the song that they don’t sing, It’s a little bit of everything.”
- Dawes, A little bit of everything

This is a problem between you and your ISP.

We Surround Them!

Sorry but that lag is not the fault of Bungie - that is you or your ISP. I've been playing ODST since it came out and rarely ever found any "lag" that could not be attributed to the host - such as a wife logging in on another PC or another XBox 360 starting up in another room and stealing bandwidth. A good friend of mine is also a cable tech for a local cable company and has confirmed the same thing because when he comes over to my place and logs in to my account and measures things, I am always faster with no lag than he is at his home just 5 miles down the road on the same ISP.

Warning: Fear Quoting Me. Fear it.

Fixing the internet connection for a game that is barely based online is a waste of money and an ill investment.

think about how halo 3 uses online matchmaking everyday, therefore requires a different type of connection than a game like halo: odst.

its not the game its the gametype. smaller realms= smaller servers.

Lag is a part of online gaming and you have to accept that.
