I'm thinking of installing my copy of Halo Mac on a Powermac G4 15" laptop. Unfortunataly it's a work computer, so I need to be able to perform a full uninstall when the time comes. So how would I go about performing a full uninstallation of Halo for the Macintosh?

Well, since you're so very smart, why not point me in the direction of the Halo Mac forum...

I'm not familiar with Macs, but if it is anything like a pc, you can just navigate to the directory where Halo is installed, and find the uninstall.exe. If you want to play it safe [I suggest it, like I said I suck with Macs], call up M$ at the support number listed and ask them.

I'm positive you can.

Don't drink to excess– You might shoot at tax-collectors... and miss

Computer: Power Mac G5 CPU Type: PowerPC G5 (2.2) Number Of CPUs: 2 CPU Speed: 1.8 GHz L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB Memory: 1.25 GB Bus Speed: 900 MHz

I just took a look at my mac. The major place that I saw any trace of Halo is the Applications folder, which is where the game is installed and the Documents folder where saved games, etc go. Also the preferences. I also had the updater that I downloaded and some other Halo related stuff that is not installed with the game. Just do a "find" for Halo. You should be able to drag it all to the trash and "secure empty trash" to remove all trace.

If the boss ever finds out, just tell him that 3-D games are the best way to test the video on a computer.

Oh, by the way, this IS where you should come for Halo Mac info.
