I achieved my Recon armor through the screenshot contest Team Control, not Bungie Day or ODST. 5/29/09
No, Luke! Noo!
64th last player to play Halo 2 online.

It's a little bit over edited. I like it though, very fast paced. Just remove some editing and it would be good.

There are too many sequences that don't feature gameplay in the middle of your montage. Halo gameplay montages are more about editing the action to view your multikills and snipes quickly, for the overall effect of showcasing your skill.

A music video, on the other hand, is primarily about showcasing your editing.

I would call this a music video featuring gameplay, and screenshots/sequences of non gameplay-related material. It's well done for what it is, just not a montage in the sense of how the community defines it. That's why the responses.

If you lose the screenshot intermissions and campaign sequences and you'll have what we call a montage. Also, the blood on the visor is just distracting from the gameplay sequence, because typically editing of gameplay is messing with the flow of time, showing the action from different camera angles simultaneously or through replays at a different angle or speed, not adding post-capture art to the screen, other than maybe your tag/signature.
