I made this tutorial so you can get the basic gist of how to make scripts in Halo 2 Vista. I did not edit out any mistakes (Patrick, "Gorilla" returns...) because it shouldn't really matter, as long as you can understand it, thats all that matters.

I hope you enjoy it, and I also hope that this can make H2V a little bit more active.

You know i don't understand why Bungie or Microsoft doesn't just give us the h2ek that they have i mean the game is almost dead what will it hurt.

Seriously i mean there is no reason "not" to give it to us.

Does Bungie even know we don't have it....

On Bungie.net we all know that Bungie, the media, Microshaft and rest of the world completely ignores Halo 2 Vista.

The main reason why we have a locked editing kit, is because Microshaft and Bungie despise modders and they don't want enthusiasts to make better use of the game than they do.

Microsoft, yes, but Bungie?

They're indifferent as long as you don't take the mods online on a console game. The official line is that Bungie don't support H2V, and even if they wanted to release the H2EK, assuming they still have copies of the software suite around, then they'd have to answer to Microsoft about publishing it; and they'll say no.

I guess, Bungie is secretly supportive of mods, but with Microshaft on their asses,
I guess they gotta play the meanie too.

It was Microshaft who decided, the h2ek to be locked up, because they were afraid people would infringe on other companies intellectual property,
but they don't take into account how many times Halo 1 maps have done this,
and how no company has even taken action.
