Someone care to explain? It can't be the dummy flood that appear on your radar for I haven't triggered it and there's no way I could (at least that I know of) since I was up on the ledge. Plus, it doesn't move like the dummies.

I got out of the Pelican about halfway rather than staying in until it landed, if that means anything.

I think 343 GS is flat out -blam!- up for me. It's a save and this odd camera angle occurs every time.

Nice find. Have you replicated your actions and gotten the same result?

Found him.
I didn't do any editing so if the quality is crap I apologize.
Doing the known grenade/Pelican trick and roaming around resulted in me finding him, again. I don't think anything special is needed to find him, it's just strange how I never saw him before considering I used to waste hours on this game by just dicking around lol

Great find. I'm not sure how I never found him either. Although I'm certain I did find its body after throwing random grenades up there.

That's one of the "dummy radar" flood. In your videos you can quite clearly see him registering a friendly FOF tag on your motion sensor.

Your seemingly aimless wondering of the perimeter of the level may have triggered his appearance but not have triggered his sequence of actions, namely his rendezvous with the other 'friendly' flood.

I do recall finding something like this before, but I think that was me killing the flood on their normal appearance, waiting for them to re-animate and then observing them.

Regardless, this is a nice find.

So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

Notice how you have an ally on your radar and you can't find the ally? That's him. I guess Bungie put him their as a early sneek peek. Their is also one simlar were you find a marine instead of a flood. I found both on my Xbox. However I could be wrong, they could just be Easter Eggs. I assume that this flood is "by design" that it was purposly made as a becon, but I don't think you were suppose to find him. Still cool though.

You can find them. If you look to your left and down when you're on the log, there's a couple running into the swamp. If you look up and right, there's some on the hill.

Once you reach the log look to you're left, it's awesome.
However I don't see how the loner Flood could be one of the dummies. If I remember correctly it's impossible to trigger the Flood unless you take the correct path and walk on the log. Correct me if I'm wrong.
