I just want to know who the moderator is right now. I would like the moderator to tell me who not just anyone cause about 80% of the stuff on the forums is complete BS. So after saying that the only way I will belive you is if the mod. says it is him. I'm not saying that the mod. are the people lying just saying that almost everybody elses lies.

  • 08.21.2005 6:34 AM PDT

You know, not everybody lies. I think you've spent too much time in Zanzibar or something. The Septagon has very good members who reply to posts that might be able to answer your question.

You are right I will give you that I have spent alot of time in Zanzibar. I just know from past experiance that you cant belive everything you here on b.net or any website at all. Well maybe you can help who is the moderator right know??? The only moderator that I can actaully say that I know is Shishka and I might not even be spelling his name right. There are way to many liers in Zanzibar and I wish the mod. will say something about them everytime they lie. I have another question when ever it says blam that means some one has cursed but who changes it??? Is it the mods. or is it run through the system and it is checked through that??? If you know the answer for sure tell me don't tell what you think unless you know for sure. Thank you for your answers and I apoligize for calling alot of people liers.

Curse words are removed by an automated filter. With how many people post daily, it would take forever for the moderators to replace all offensive wording with '-blam!-'.

The blam-filter's vocabulary is not as comprehensive as it possibly could be, nor does it handle dodging it very well. People attempt to bypass it all of the time. Doing so is against the rules.

If someone have a vulgar word to say, they should say it and let it be blammed (being sure to use the preview function to make sure that it is edited). Or, if they are going to take the time to misspell it or insert special characters, I don't understand why they don't use their mental resources and type another, more acceptable word?

Well, it depends on whether you think ASCII is more fun than saying "Goshdarngolly, it's my opinion that your values and attitudes are different to mine, and as a result, I declare that your Halo 2 skills resemble those of one who has little experience". It's easier to say "-|3 |_ 4 |\/| !- j00 -|3 |_ 4 |\/| !- pneub", apparently.

Umm....and Achronos...dont forget the big guy.

It was a cold day near the southern base in Blood Gulch. Cortana and I were relaxing over a game of Go Fish, WHEN OUT OF NO WHERE 700 BANSHEES CAME FLYING IN!!! I GRABED MY SPARTAN LASER AND LET HELL REIGN DOWN UPON THEM. I HOPPED IN THE NEAREST WARTHOG AND TOLD CORTANA TO GET IN.

There are several different Mods. Off the top of my head, Sigma, Shishka, Stosh, Goweb, Recon Number 54, Chris547 (I think I got the numbers right...), Maka, and Reiginko. They may not all be on at the same time, but they are all mods.

EDIT: Forgot Yoozel and Nosferatau And to Caboose- Achronos isn't a Mod. He's the Overlord. Two very different things. He runs the site. He is pretty much B.net's web team. The Mods just keep order. They don't get payed while Achronos does.

I'm not sure if your trying to be funny, or if he edited his post after you quoteed him, but Achronos is not a mod. He is payed by bungie, so he is basically an overlord, as is Sketchfactor, Frankie, and basically any bungie employees.

But I am pretty sure he has the powers of a mod. I at least think he does...and maybe some powers the mods dont have.

edit:Thanks for clearing that up Recon. So he is a "special mod"...cool.

* Some say that it resides in a jar, a special jar with special canine contents.

The question is, where would this jar be located?

Yes he has all the powers mods do and more unimaginal ones that he often uses to make random members play hop-scotch.

In some respects it's a little bit TOO good. It's impossible for me to say "blímey" without accenting the "i" as "límey" is considered unacceptable language for some reason. I genuinely wonder if it's a stronger word in the US than it is here in the UK, which if it is has a peculiarity about it in itself due to the fact that it's an American colloquialism for an Englishman!

Again you forget Achronos.

Bungie employees have their own mystical and awesome powers. Powers that mere mortals should be cautious to test or explore.

There is much speculation as to the source of this power.

* Some say that it resides in a jar, a special jar with special canine contents.
* Some say that the power comes from Tijuana Mamas and sushi farts (please don't ask).
* Others insist that it all comes from the magnificence and wisdom of The Elder.
* One theory is that someone on the team found something in a Yucatan jungle and after that, washing machines have been stalking (and falling upon, hey it's their best form of attack) the people who know the Tru7h.

I just know not to look to closely, or to ask too many questions.

Why washing machines and not pianos, plus are you awake 24/7 watching out for falling washing machines? lol, I personally believe that moderators are mystical beings beyond human comprehension and we can only begin to contemplate the inner workings of their minds and erm...."sushi farts"

A Theme Master is one who has created & submitted a theme to Bungie, and had it accepted, thus attaining the privilege of a custom avatar and title.

Naw, anvils have too much class to simply fall on people like dishwashers do.

The 7 Anvils guard the seven layers of Bungie HQ. Legend has it they can change the tags of physics itself, changing the sprites of the door guards and making them fire guided potatoanus missiles...

Of course, there is also the one mystical Forge, which creates expansive, monster filled labyrinths before intruders, but that is a story for another day.

Ask Greg. A piano dropped from 3 stories is much easier to avoid than a dishwasher or zombie.
