A couple questions. One, are you absolutely sure UPnP has to be disabled for port forwarding to work? Or would I have to disable it if I used DMZ? And two, my router uses DHCP to automatically assign IPs to the devices on my network. So I set my Xbox's IP to 192.168.0.77, yet the DHCP is like "no gtfo I'm giving it 192.168.0.100". What gives?
Seems like I'd have to disable that and have everything on my network use a static IP. Is that true? Because that would be annoying.
Disclaimer: I don't work in IT, I just figured out how run my family's network and wrote a guide about it in english and more knowledgable guys advised me in replies.
You didn't say you were having NAT woes, UPnP could work fine for you, but given you are, yes I think so.
