I don't think it is, cause I beat a teammate in the back for a sniper rifle all the time, only if there real bad with it though. I mean, they're going to die and waste it anyways, right?

Five Tenets of Bungie.net Forum Life:
1. Trolls will always be well fed.
2. Blame-ability thy name is stosh.
3. Bungie has no control over retail prices.
4. Watch out for low-flying defense drones.
5. Seven is not optional, but rather, an inevitability.

If they're bad, let them have a good gun. It might save their ass. Prove that your a great player by working with worst weapons in the game and dominating the score board.

The fact that it says "<name> has BETRAYED <name>" is a bit of a tip-off.

I would say yeah because it not only gets the person you killed mad you lose points for doin it...unless its in single player but still don't do it

Plus it is a huge turn-off for new players. How are they supposed to get better with a gun if someone takes it from them when they get it?

I agree that it is bad. In fact, it terrible. Why kill a teammate? YOU ARE A TEAM!! Work together as a TEAM! If it werent considered spam I would just continue to write TEAM in big letters! {:/\()

Sometimes I'll put a few AR rounds in someone before they grab it, this usually makes them stop and turn around to see who is shooting them...very effective. I've never killed a teammate though for his/her gun.

I hate when im on XBConnect and some smacktard melees me in the back after I snatch the sniper rifle on BG. Any kind of team killing really shows how dumb a person is. If a crappy player takes the gun I want I just follow him around for a little bit until he dies then I kill his killer and take the weapon I want.

Absolutely, put yourself in the shoes of the inferior player. I don't care how much better you are than they are. If you really want their gun, follow them and team up with them, until they die.

The atrocious pride that oozes from these forums is sickening.

You should never kill a teammate unless they've trapped themselves inside the rock in Blood Gulch.

No, IMO, but prepare yourself for the wrath.

I have killed teammates, both better and worse for my gun, I'm the insane Shock Troop so I speciallize with short ranged weapons, the shotgun is my best weapon. People who are on my team know my specialty and know that I will team kill if I feel like it, especially when my weapon of choice is gone.

Yes. Whether they have a better gun or not doesn't change the fact that they're a team mate. Killing them is betraying them. Betrayal is wrong in real life, and it's wrong in Halo.
