Are musical artists required to put a parental advisory sticker on their albums if they contain profanity?
I have several CD's with blatant profanity, and they do not have "parental advisory" on them.
This dates back to the Master of Puppets by Metallica. The last song, Damage Inc., contains profanity, and the CD is not parental advisory. And its not like an album of that proportion would be overlooked.
I'm just curious, and if anyone could shed some light on the subject, it would be greatly appreciated.
