We miss you Logan.
Ask any question. I'll help with anything on site or off.

I think it's a great game. The only problem I have is the armor customisation.

It's a good game, but wasn't really worth the money when it came out. However, it is quite cheap now and has a good campaign. It is also better for people who enjoy Halo 3 multiplayer.

What a hipster.

I think the game is good. I still play it all the time.

Man Up.

unless you like single player campaigns, or have 3 buddys bugging you to play firefight, you're not missing much.

Excuse me while I whip this out

KOTOR

It's a great game. Good story, cool characters, firefight, and about half the cast of firefly doing voices for the ODST's. The only problems are that the campaign is short, and hardly anybody plays it anymore.

yeah it's pretty much the same. enemies try to kill you, you try to stay alive.

except there's no matchmaking for it so unless you've got 3 friends, it's not that fun.

however if you have 3 friends to play it with, it's better than horde.

So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

It's pretty good in my opinion.

"Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows." 1984, Orwell

It's a good game by itself, but doesn't live up to the other epic Halo's, xcept maybe for Halo Wars.

The campaign is as solid as any other Halo game, but in a different way. It is more about exploration and being alone. It's a totally different atmosphere but really fleshes out the Halo universe.

The one problem I have with it is the lack of Firefight matchmaking, but Bungie already said that's one of the biggest mistakes they've ever made and obviously it's being corrected in Reach.

This is a RETICULE, and that is a RETICLE. I'm using the latter to aim. And what are you using?

Despite being too short, I was completely blown away my ODST's campaign. If you collect all the audio logs (which you should definitely do, not only for the according achievement) you actually get two great story lines that connect with each other.

For the most part, playing an ODST is not that different from playing Master Chief in terms of game mechanics. You run as fast as MC, jump as high, take the same amount of damage before dropping dead, inflict the same amount of damage with melee attacks, and so on. The only real differences are that you take damage if you drop from great heights (from about 5 or 6 meters on), can't dual-wield any weapons at all, and that you need to find medpacks to regenerate lost health.

And even though you don't have a protective shield like MC does, the whole damage system works about the same as in Halo 3 - or rather, more like in H:CE since you (again) have a visible health meter and need medpacks to replenish health. Instead of shields you have Stamina, which regenerates on its own. If your Stamina is depleted you start taking health damage, but Stamina will regenerate once you stop taking damage. Medpacks are scattered quite generously around New Mombasa, and I really couldn't help but wonder how clumsy and prone to accidents the citizens must be if medpack dispensers can be found so frequently. XD

All in all, ODST feels darker and more serious/urgent than any of the previous Halo games. You're not some augmented super soldier taking on the whole Covenant single-handedly, but a - more or less - normal human soldier stranded in a city occupied by aliens who want to see not only you but your whole race dead. Your main goal is not stopping the Covenant and Flood from annihilating mankind, but simply to stay alive .... at first. Seriously, the only thing that stops me from calling ODST's campaign "epic" is the short duration.

Remember Reach

Yes indeed it was a good game but I wished more fun stuff would have been put into it. Other then that it is a good game (:

No offence Commander, but there is nothing worse than looking at Bungie Favourites and seeing the same old "art". Week, after week, after week.

people say things about ODST like The main problem with ODST is that it doesn't deliver the bacon in other words it was not enough new content to be a full halo game. A 3hour campaign .You have to buy ur download content again if u bought it in Halo3.Not enough weapons. So many of my friends said it was just to short and the multiplayer was not very impressive. witch makes me terrified to buy it. I never though ODST was going to be good neither Halo wars. But I got Halo wars sorry if I didn't mention that earlier but I was blow away by this game.So maybe I should give Halo ODST a chance what do u think I should do?
