I yearn for sanity!
People, I have to say that this whole ILB's think has gotten out of control!
I have issues with both camps of the argument here. First, I will address the early-release hopefuls:
Stop spoiling the fun please. I find that the early release hopefuls are like the people who read the last page of the book before reading the rest, just to find out how it ends. Why not enjoy the mystery without prejudgment? Just because the counter is counting down does not mean HALO will be released then.
To those against the early release I have this message, listen. Some of you I have seen resort to childishness to put your point across, for example, filling half a screen with 'ha ha ha's' (why the haven't the mods snipped those?) and saying 'HALO IS NOT COMING OUT ON THE 24TH!'
How do you know for sure? How does either party know for sure? Just because Franky says so, doesn't make it so (although it does lend some heavy weight to the Nov 9 crew). And likewise, just because there has been no official confirmation against the early release doesn't mean that it IS coming out.
This debate has taken too much time, it has become a childish pantomime of 'yes it is coming out early' 'oh no it isn't' 'oh yes it is' 'ohhhh no it isn't' etc.
This argument only serves to take our eyes off the story that is being told, who is the speaker on the site? What is SPDR (aside form single player demo release)? Who are the queen and the widow and what is their purpose? If Junito is legitimate, who is his character? Where is he?
We have spent far too long debating what will be, instead of discussing what is here now, the story. So far, all I have seen are people sharing the information they have gathered and making a limited analyses of the information.
I will post a thread soon that will be my interpretation of the characters, their story, their purpose and what is being said to us. I invite others to join in a discussion about what is, not what might be.
I realise that I am bound to be flamed.
All I ask is a little patience and calm discussion.
Thanks for listening.
