Well I got Halo 2 Vista and I used my Xbox 360 Wired Controller to play on it with, Anyways, I went online and played a game or 2 and I noticed when I turned my character around, He was still moving for a little few milliseconds after I let go of the button.

It isn't Mutliplayer or my connection because its doing the same on Campaign.

I tried playing without the Controller and hell that it just a bad.

I am running this game on Windows 7 with NO other programs on, Just H2 Vista.

Anyone help?

Jason Jones of Bungie famously said of Halo 2 that: "it's Halo 1 on fire going 120 miles per hour through a hospital zone chased by helicopters and ninjas. And the ninjas are all on fire too." As a sequel, Halo 2 couldn't quite live up to that extravagant claim.

It happened to me to. I switched to mouse and keyboard because of it. Its much more prevelant in campaign if you use the xbox controller. It switches the button controlls on me and starts drifting. Its really annoying. Although as soon as it happens if you hit the guide button it'll stop.

Yes, I am a hypocrite, and I'm sorry. I really do mean well, but I'm not running on all cylinders.

Everytime someone buys a copy of Halo 2 Vista, a puppy dies.

The only thing that causes this on my system is vertical sync. You could try disabling that in your video card control panel.
