I liked it so much, I made a thread about it.

I can't say that I love "The Library," but I do think it's fun. I think many people don't like it because they hate the Flood and the repetitive nature of the level. I think each area of the level should have been a bit more unique so you don't feel like you're going in a circle, but that's the only real criticism I have. I like the Flood and I don't mind repeating things that I enjoy, so I like the level.

I really enjoyed The Library. I liked the introduction of an enemy with a completely different combat style:

Instead of evasive Jackals and Elites, that demand a combination between plasma and bullet weapons, to defeat, we get the incredibly aggressive and suicidal Flood.

I really liked how the gameplay changed drastically at that point in the game, which is one of the things that made it so fun.

I dislike the level, but I don't really hate it. I find it annoying just running around that level.

- God

I think it was trying to be 'hell', at least that is what I was thinking the first time I played through - It referencing to the nine circles or layers of hell or whatever, with the elevators. I was thinking this the entire time I was playing the level and I actually started to enjoy it. Looking back, It was actually a good gameplay concept; A bunch of flesh-eating zombies running at you while you use an assortment of weapons to mow them down... *cough* Left 4 Dead *cough* But ya I liked it, I wouldn't mind something similar in reach... With more environmental variation of course
