The enemy of my enemy shall die next.

I know the voices in my head are not real, but they have some great ideas.

Brown chicken Brown cow!

I was bored and thought if i could check out Bungie.net on my mobile phone.

Well I got to a front page of sorts (one saying something like "Dont make us own you")

This got me thinking. Could Bungie do a wap site for people on the go? Or people who are interested in ringtones / realtones or wallpapers on their phone.
Or even just want to see the latest news from but cant get to a decent computer?

I dont know how hard it would be to do (I'm not the most technical of people on the planet)

What are your thoughts on this?

Ringtones = awesome. Besides that, I don't care to be on these forums when I'm not at a computer, I'm not that addicted.

Forum Tutorials --- WATCH THEM AND LEARN

Yeah, sometimes it just gets a little too boring on a long bus ride that i try and go places on my phone. I'd really appreciate if bungie.net had a WAP site I could visit while i'm doing nothing.

Well, maybe the actual forums could be left out, or just have the group forums.

I thought thought it might be good to check for the latest in Bungie news and other related stuff.

Maybe having the voice actors for the game record some things for a mobile might be good.

The realtones/ ringtones market is a multi - million £ market place. Im suprised Micro$oft hasnt already thought of doing ringtones.

I never use my phone for WAP but maybe a bungie website for ringtones and sounds from bungie games would be cool. I would love to receive a txt message and have the announcer from halo shout "unfreakenbelievable".

Someone suggested this for the old crapness.

Tom said that he was thinking of doing this, but I guess the whole bungie.net re-design meant that it was a low priority, and that anything he may have done towards it would have to be re-done.

Oooh, nice phone Recon.

I've experienced that problem with the low-res site too. There's no submit button, so whenever I'm on my iMac, I have to swap around between OS9 and OSX and do wacky stuff to look at the site.

Which is why I look at it on my PC. Sad.

I'm actually able to navigate the forums (and "stealth-mod") using my phone. It's a Pocket-PC with a mobile phone. Since it uses the Windows Mobile OS and has Pocket Internet Explorer (yes, it is called "PIE") it seems to handle Bungie.Net at a low-rez, but mostly functional way.

Once I got java-script installed and running, I was able to login using my Passport and cruise the forums. Most forums buttons are there and I am able to scan, open, and read threads and posts. I can perform some rudimentary ninja-moves (such as locking, moving, or deleting threads, even blacklisting) but the "reply" function doesn't completely work. For some reason the "submit" button is not there when creating a thread or replying to a post.

But, it's better than nothing if I have time to kill and don't want (or can't) dig out my laptop. The phone uses the GPRS network for Internet connectivity, but if there's WiFi, it'll connect to that or even a Blue-Tooth connection for faster connectivity.

I really like my pho ne. I was able to combine 3 devices into one. No more bat-utility belt for me.

A phone like that is good for people who can afford it. but what about people who cant, like me.

All I have is the Nokia 6230
